Structure of the Maximus agitator
The agitator paddles are arranged in alternating positions, which results in mixing in the horizontal and vertical directions, thus dissolving floating covers and sediment formation. The slow-running agitator is driven by a low-maintenance, low-energy drive mounted outside the fermenter, making it the optimal solution for continuous operation. This design means that there are no electrical parts, chains or ropes in the fermenter that could lead to operating faults. Subsequent adjustment work on the agitator is no longer necessary. A special double seal between the agitator shaft and the fermenter wall ensures permanent tightness.
